Our daughter Shadie has done EVERYTHING with this horse. He has been shown several years in 4-H as a two hand horse and as a bridled horse. Shadie has shown him in versatility classes and in ranch horse shows. He has packed a flag and is rodeo safe. Amos has been used for all aspects of ranch work, he has been used to gather cattle in the high country, drug calves to the fire, doctored cows, has been packed on and ponied young colts. Amos is a very gentle horse, both on the ground, and on his back. He is built like a tank and can go all day. Shadie has done just about everything on this horse. She has shot guns off of him, swam him in big lakes, and given riding lessons. Amos is only 6 years old but has an old soul. Amos is a great babysitter, Shadie's little sisters have used him a ton and love riding this gelding. They can goof around on him and he just sits calm and takes whatever they throw at him. He is the biggest love bug and will crawl in your pocket every time you go to catch him. Amos has been on several pack trips and is sure footed in rough terrain.
