Fully Restored Mud Wagon

This fully restored Mud Wagon has history dating back to 1883. The Mud Wagon is one of 6 built by Livy and Swan later joined by P.O. LeMay who formed the Yreka, CA based vehicle building firm. This mud wagon traveled mostly through the main artery of Northern California and Oregon. These particular vehicles main stops were Yreka, Deadwood and Fort Jones, CA (as seen on the side of the wagon). This native built California vehicle is rare, these were public vehicles while they were in service. This “mudder” was found wasting away in a field in Mt. Shasta, CA. The current owner's family won the wagon on a political bet in 1960. The wagon needed a significant restoration. The restoration took about 5 years to complete. Since it’s restoration it has been in several parades, on display at different museums and historical events. It has been garaged for years and this unique and rare Mud Wagon always draws attention and deserves to be with an owner that will enjoy its beauty and respect its history.
