The Mile High Select Sale was established by Harley D. Troyer in March of 2016 and held during the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo Denver, Colorado. We treat this auction with the same criteria that has always been with us over the years, and that is honesty, integrity, and credibility.
Registration & Bidding: Two forms of ID is required (driver’s license and a credit card) to obtain a buyer number prior to the auction. The highest bidder is the buyer. If any dispute arises between two bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute is reserved by the auctioneer. Seller reserves the right to waive the sale (bids) of his/her horse before it leaves the auction ring. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The auctioneer completes sale of a horse at the fall of the gavel.
Live Internet Bidding: Live internet bidding is provided by www.DVAuction.com. In order to bid live you will need to log on to their website, click on Create New Account. Payment: Payment in full must be made to the cashier immediately after the auction in US currency by Cash, Credit Card, or Check. A 3.5% convenience fee will be charged if payments are made with a credit card. Returned checks will be charged $50.00, no exceptions. NSF horse payment checks classifies as a felony and will be turned over to the District Attorney for immediate prosecution. Buyer agrees not to stop payment on check for any reason and NOT to reverse charges from using a credit card.
AGREEMENT: Buyer agrees to our Terms and Conditions and that all the information furnished to Josh White Auctions, Inc. is true and correct. Buyer agrees to be responsible for any purchase made or actions taken by an agent authorized by buyer to act on buyer’s behalf.
BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY: By placing a bid in this auction, buyer is indicating he/she has examined or researched a horse to his/her satisfaction. Prior to bidding, buyers may ask seller for additional information, arrange with seller to have a veterinarian perform an examination, or hire an agent or equine professional to inspect and evaluate the horse. Soundness does not guarantee pass of inspection by any vet following the sale. Buyer agrees to hold Mile High Select Sale (Josh White Auctions, Inc.) harmless from any claims arising out of any such inaccuracies or omissions.
REPRESENTATION OF HORSE: Seller is responsible for the correct representation of each entry in the auction. Seller is solely responsible for the accuracy of all information that appears in the sale catalog and previews. Announcements in the auction ring take precedence over printed information. It is your responsibility to pay close attention to the announcements from the auction block.
